2017 Recurring Events

BIBLE CORRESPONDENCE COURSE --A Bible correspondence course is a series of lessons designed to help you understand the Bible and Christianity. If you would like to enroll in a Bible Correspondence Course by mail, please complete this form and we will send the first lesson out to you right away. Take your time in completing each lesson (there is no rush). When we receive your review quiz for each lesson, we will grade it and put the next lesson in the mail to you as soon as possible. More information here

BIBLE CLASS CURRICULUM -- Classes are offered for age groups Crale Roll through Adult each Sunday morning and Wednesday evening.  The curriculum for ages 3 year old though 8th grade involves the "Bible Study Guid for All Ages" (see http://www.biblestudyguide.com/churches.php for more information), the Jr. High & High School class are following a four-year curriculum approved by the Elders, with content for the Adult classes varying from quarter to quarter.

GOOD SAMARITANS -- The Good Samaritans group meets at 9:30 a.m. in Room 101 at the church building on the first and third Thursdays of each month. The Good Samaritans enjoy fellowship with one another while performing good works such as sending greeting cards to visitors and members, restocking visitor cards and other publications in the pews and tract racks, preparing hospital bags, assisting in the teacher workroom, helping with the food pantry and assisting with other needs as they arise.

LIBRARY PROGRAM -- As Christians, we are called to a life of study and learning (2 Tim. 2:15; Matt. 11:29-30), realizing that knowledge and instruction are to be chosen above silver and gold (Prov. 8:10).  Recognizing this, the Dripping Springs church of Christ provides educational opportunities for its members to be build up and edified in the most holy faith.  To aid us in this process, the library reading and research programs, and its facilities and tools, were created to meet a portion of the educational and contemporary needs of Christians.  Designed to facilitate learning and foster Christian studies, the library program provides a variety of classes and learning experiences for all ages.   Because the truth has been revealed within the historical context of places, governments, religious thinking, and philosophies of men, various books and tools of all types have been acquired and are shelved in the church library.

LADIES' BIBLE CLASS -- Our ladies meet on the last Tuesday of each month in one another’s homes to study the Word of God. This year's study will continue with Kathy Pollard’s book, “Return to Me”.  More information can be found here.

FIRST SUNDAY FOCUS -- On the frist Sunday of each month, we will have our regular morning worship followed by a fellowship meal in Room 101.  Our "evening" worship will commence immediately after the fellowship meal at approximately 1:30PM.

WEDNESDAY SINGING NIGHTS -- On the last Wednesday evening of each month, we devote most of our time together in worshipping our Lord in song.  All of the men, both young and old, are invited to lead us in song.  We conclude our worship witha brief devotional.
